Class Zippy Strippy Bag

Join Jean to make a handy "scrappy style" zippered bag the perfect size for a pencil case, makeup bag, or charging cable holder. This is a great project to learn how to put in a zipper.  It's easier than you think! Confident beginners on up.

In an effort to keep classes affordable, we ask that you purchase all supplies and materials from Bernina We're in Stitches.  Before purchasing materials, check to make sure that the class minimum of 3 students has been met. Students are eligible for a 10% discount on supplies purchased for class; online customers should make a note at checkout listing name of class and which items apply to have the discount applied manually.

By signing up for a class, you agree to in-class photography, which we use on our social media to promote the class experience to others.

Supplies needed:

Zippy Strippy bag kit

Zippy Strippy pattern

Sewing machine with foot pedal and power cord

Quarter inch foot and zipper foot (if you need one of these, check early in case you must order--so it arrives in time)

90/14 Universal needles 

Neutral thread

Clips or pins

Small rotary ruler, rotary cutter, and mat

Travel iron and mat helpful, if you have them 

Lunch or snack to eat during class

Please park beside the building to leave room for customers out front.
